Just got a letter from UW-Madison today...got put on their waiting list. The whole concept of "We're sending you a letter to let you know that we don't know about you" seems a little bit funny. Oh well - at least there's a chance now for me to get into my #1 choice. They said that the final decision will most likely come sometime after mid-May, so I've got a while before I'll know...6 more schools to hear from.

Jeez, I'm sorry you guys. I hate getting waitlisted too. For me at least -- with a family -- a waitlist is a rejection, because I can't wait that long to make a decision, find a place to live, figure out FinAid, etc. Good luck.
