I love being a mom. I love it more than I ever thought I would. I thought I would get bored and restless not working a "real" job every day. Admittedly, sometimes I do get bored and restless, but nothing a quick walk outside with Carter can't cure. I hate having to go to work and leave the little guy behind. Pretty soon that won't be an issue anymore!!! Three months and counting! Anyway, in honor of Carter and the cute, hilarious, slobbery boy he is, I am dedicating a post to Carter and some of my favorite things about him.
- The way you find it calming to hold someone's fingers in your hands, especially while in the baby carrier, car seat, or rocking chair.
- The way you stare at me with your huge blue eyes while you are speed eating.
- The way you try to eat your toes. (He recently discovered his toes and how yummy his feet
- taste.)
- The way you are often a slobbering mess. (see above)
- The way you smile and kick your feet in excitement when I go to get you out of the crib.
- The way your arms shake and your mouth opens wide with excited impatience when you are getting ready to eat.
- The way you look like your dad.
