Yes, it is true. I finally got a job. These past two months have been a horrible roller coaster ride that I am happy to say is over, though not without some drama. This last week I had two job interviews; one for a receptionist at a home health company and another for an accounting software company. The software company position sounded perfect for me and my first interview went really well. Then yesterday they call and ask me to meet with the CEO today. Thirty minutes after that call the home health company calls and offers me a job; they gave me until 5 PM that day to give them an answer.
After three hours of agony, I decided to turn down the receptionist job and hope for the best with the software company. Thank Goodness! My interview with the CEO this morning went very well. He is a fellow BYU grad and basically loved everything about me, including Brett being in law school where his wife graduated many years ago. He basically told me I had the job, but I didn't want to get my hopes too high.
Around noon they called and officially offered me the job! I will be a Client Advisor. This is a position the company recently decided to create and I am the first one! I'm pretty excited to help mold the role and be in this exciting position. I start October 1st!
Thanks to everyone who has crossed their fingers and toes, prayed, and sent good luck wishes. The support was amazing!
